Parishioner Profiles: David Steichen refurbishes our Playground

David Steichen is a familiar face around the Church of Saint Mary because he grew up here. He is in between his freshman and sophomore years at Bishop Kelley High School and might be tempted to relax this summer. Not David. He is working harder than ever so he may become an Eagle Scout.

David had a busy month in June as he searched for his Eagle Project. His fondness for his time at the School of Saint Mary and at Saint Mary Preschool motivated him to coordinate a huge project at our School. He renewed the finish on all the wooden structures in the School’s playground.
