Parishioners donate $5,000 towards ultrasound machines

The parish Knights of Columbus Council #13313 expresses their appreciation to all parishioners and thanks them for their generosity in donating $5,000 towards the purchase of an ultrasound machine for placement in Oklahoma. For all who contributed to our Coins for Change campaign a sincere thank you. You have saved the life of an unborn child.  Recently two ultrasound machines have been placed, one in Bartlesville and one in Norman, bringing the instate total to 31 machines.

The Knights – again through parishioner generosity – donated $500 each to Madonna House and Birthright Tulsa to initiate the new KofC program ASAP (Aid and Service after Pregnancy) to enable these pregnancy resource centers to continue with their much-needed work.

The Knights also donated $300 to the KofC sponsored Christian Refugee Relief Fund which gives assistance to Catholic groups in the mid-east being pushed out by various Muslim initiatives which are directed at having Christians expelled from mid-east countries.

Council members also voted to continue with its yearly $500 contribution for tuition assistance to our sponsored seminarian Joey Griggs as part of our KofC RSVP (Refund Support Vocation  Program) which financially aids seminarians throughout the country.
