Our Charity: Why we’re hosting this event

Proceeds will benefit the Center of Family Love, a facility in Oklahoma that provides quality lifetime care to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Center offers group homes, an intermediate care facility, and a geriatric center for its residents.

The Center of Family Love opened in Okarche, Oklahoma in 1981. The facility served forty-eight residents. Since then two additional group homes have in El Reno, and a six bed facility in Yukon.

The Oklahoma Knights of Columbus councils have been key supporters of the Center of Family Love. Our Free Throw Challenge is co-sponsored by our Knights of Columbus council and the Church of Saint Mary itself.

Contributing: How to make a difference without touching a basketball
