Presentations on Alzheimer’s Disease: June 5, 12, & 25

Alzheimer’s can affect any of us – either personally or a loved one. Church of Saint Mary Encore is hosting three presentations in June. These talks are open to the entire community (not just Encore).
Cathy Sullins is the Education Coordinator of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Alheimer’s Association. She will be speaking about three important topics relating to the care of a loved one affected by Alzheimer’s.

  • Tuesday, June 5, 6:30 p.m. Know the warning signs: Learn the difference between  normal memory loss associated with aging verses Alzheimer’s.
  • Tuesday, June 12, 6:30 p.m. Healthy Living for mind and body: Tips from the latest research
  • Monday, June 25, 6:30 p.m. Effective Communication Strategies Especially helpful for care givers

The talks are scheduled to be one hour long. We will meet in the church so that the hearing impaired can hear the talks.
