One of the most joyful parts of Easter is the Saturday evening Easter Vigil during which a number of people are baptized, received into the Church, confirmed, and communicated. The COVID quarantine caused a shutdown in public Masses a few weeks before Easter. The Sacraments of Easter were put on hold.
The Oklahoma bishops in resuming public Masses are allowing the Sacraments of Easter to happen.
At the Church of Saint Mary, it will take place at a special Mass on Sunday, May 31 at 12:30 p.m. That Mass (as well as the 10:30 a.m. that morning) will be livestreamed.
