Construction Update: Getting ready for the foundation

Another construction milestone is quickly approaching: the pouring of the community center’s foundation.

Superintendent Chris Shook says that his expanded crew will arrived at 2:00 a.m. next Wednesday to make final preparations. He says that the first of twenty-one concrete trucks will arrive at 4:00 a.m.

Mr. Shook’s workers will pump concrete into the foundation all day. They will work until the slab is complete.

The forecast calls for rain the following day, a factor that will help the foundation cure.
