Church welcomes seminarian Adrian Meneses for a pastoral year

Seminarian Adrian Meneses is beginning a pastoral year at the Church of Saint Mary. Adrian is studying for the Diocese of Tulsa following a five year stint as a postgraduate research assistant, a term as an assistant lecturer at the University of Guadalajara, and as a French teacher.

Adrian holds an impressive command of languages and has a distinguished set of degrees including a Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology, a Masters in Philosophical Studies, a License in Philosophy, and a Bachelor’s Degree of Ecclesial Philosophy.

He enjoys cooking, movies, walks, and prayer.

 

RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE
2005 – 2006 Aspirant with the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers), doing pastoral work in the local Prison visiting the prisoners three days a week.
2006 – 2009 Philosophical studies IFFIM Guadalajara.
2006 – 2007 Pastoral with teenagers and youth.
2007 Summer in Washington D.C.
2007 – 2008 Pastoral in the Civil Hospital, Extraordinary Minister of the Communion.
2008 Summer in Quebec.
2008 – 2009 Pastoral in the Civil Hospital, Extraordinary Minister of the Communion.
June 2009 – January 2010 Pastoral year in Ouagadougou Burkina Faso.
2017 Discernment year with Consolata Missionaries.
2018 Community life with Consolata Missionaries.
2017-2018 Pastoral with youth.
January 2019 – December 2019 Novitiate with Consolata
Missionaries in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Temporary profession.
2020 – 2022 Theological studies.
2021 Summer in Saint Joseph Parish, Ukunda – Diani, Kenya.
2021 – 2022 Pastoral in Consolata Shrine, Nairobi, Kenia; Extraordinary Minister of the Communion.
May 2022 Admitted to be a seminarian in the Diocese of Tulsa.
