Church hosts Laffont Competition Concert & Reception: December 6, 2022

Laffont Competition Concert and Reception The Tulsa District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition identifies talented young opera singers and gives them a chance to sing in New York on the Stage of the Metropolitan Opera, and awards cash prizes to help their careers.

The directors of the Tulsa District, parishioners Susan and Tim Young, invite you to a special Concert and Reception to benefit the competition, hosted by the Church of Saint Mary on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. All funds raised are used to fund award prizes to rising opera stars.

The concert will feature Jana McIntyre (former grand finalist of the competition and frequent soloist with the Saint Mary choir) and Maddie Breedlove (another prizewinner of the competition who also sings with the choir), accompanied by music director and pianist Lyndon Meyer.
