Parishioner Ava Gaspar receives the Girl Scouts’ highest honor

Congratulations to parishioner Ava Gaspar. The School of Saint Mary alum was awarded the Gold Award, Girl Scouts’ highest honor (comparable to the Eagle Scout).

For her 80-hour project, she remodeled and catalogued the costume closet at Bishop Kelley, making it more accessible to the students and teachers. She has also already received a leadership scholarship from Missouri State in part because of her Gold Award status.
