Sips & Stories – Maria Cristina Reinoso

All parishioners 21+ are invited to connect with and be inspired by a parishioner sharing his or her story of faith. Our October speaker is Maria Cristina Reinoso. The evening will include a special drink to sip, other refreshments, and time to social. This is rescheduled for Tuesday, October 21st.

Born and raised in Peru and Spain, Maria Cristina Reinoso, a devout Catholic, studied in Chiclayo, Peru, Madrid, Lima, and Miraflores, followed by university at Escuela Normal. In 1966, she moved to the US with her husband, Dr. Luis Alberto Reinoso. Her Catholic faith helped her overcome challenges, eventually settling in Tulsa and raising five sons.

A founding member of the Hispanic American Foundation and the Pan American Round Table, she has been a member of Saint Mary’s parish for 57 years, sending her sons to Saint Mary’s School and Cascia Hall. She taught Spanish for over 30 years at Cascia Hall, TCC, TU, and Coweta Public Schools. She has been an usher at the parish for over 10 years and remains active in parish activities.
