Sips & Stories – Dr. Kevin Donovan

All parishioners 21+ are invited to connect with and be inspired by a parishioner sharing his or her story of faith. Our September speaker is Dr. Kevin Donovan. The evening will include a special drink to sip, other refreshments, and time to social. This is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 16th.

Church of Saint Mary Parishioner Dr. Kevin Donovan is the featured speaker for Sips and Stories on September 16, where he will share his story of faith. Kevin grew up in Tulsa and attended the School of Saint Mary and Cascia Hall Preparatory School. Dr. Donovan is the former Director of the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics at Georgetown University and was the founding Director of the Oklahoma Bioethics Center and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa. He has been interviewed by the Washington Post, the New York Times, and NPR and is listed in Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in the World, as well as Best Doctors in America. Kevin and his wife Mary have been married for 53 years and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. One of their children is Fr. Sean Donovan who is a priest of the Diocese of Tulsa and pastor of Holy Cross in Wagoner and St. Vincent de Paul in Coweta.
