2026-2027 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori based religious education experience for children ages 3-12. This ministry will be our main source of religious education for the 2026-2027 school year. Children wanting to receive their sacramental preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion, will use the CGS approach to prepare. They will complete at least one full year of indirect preparation through the normal atrium session followed by a more direct preparation at the beginning of the next year (usually 3 rd grade).

Classes meet weekly at the parish starting in the middle of September.

The levels are divided by age:
Level 1: 3-6 (Preschool- Kindergarten)
Level 2: 6-9 (1st-3rd grade)
Level 3: 9-12 (4th- 6th grade)

Once we receive your registration form, we will send you an email with more information about your child’s session. CGS registration costs $30 per. child for parish children and $50 dollars for non-parish children. Scholarships are available.
