Church of Saint Mary youth ministry is a great place to meet Jesus, grow in friendships, and engage in parish life. We have two groups that meet during the week: high school and middle school youth.

High school youth ministry meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm.

Middle school youth ministry meets Sunday evenings from 6-7:30pm.

Both groups meet in the youth loft above the Marian Chapel.

Our youth ministry team is proud to present our students with content from LifeTeen. Part of their ministry is supporting parents in their role as primary educators of the faith. To find out more about LifeTeen and access their resources for parents, visit this link.

Meet Our Youth Minister

Hello! I’m Church of Saint Mary youth minister, Kennedy McDonald. I am so excited you are here!

My passion for youth ministry started when I interned here at the Church of Saint Mary over the summer when I was a student at Saint Louis University. I fell in love with the parish and especially the students who had so much fun coming to youth group events over the summer. I was thrilled to be able to move back home to Tulsa and work here full time when I graduated in 2019.

Since starting here, my husband and I have become parishioners and had our first baby baptized at this parish. We look forward to years of worshipping here and integrating our family into parish life.

When I’m not in the loft for youth group you can also find me directing religious education classes and first sacraments classes. I also coach volleyball part time at a local high school and competitive club. As an English major, I also spend any free time I have reading, so I’m always looking for a new book recommendation.

I look forward to serving you and your family through our ministry. If you have any questions, I’d love to speak with you either in person, over the phone, or by email. You can reach me at the contact information below.

In Christ,

Kennedy McDonald
