Welcoming the RCIA Catechumens and Candidates

R.C.I.A. is our process for becoming Catholic. At the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, we welcomed the R.C.I.A catechumens (adults preparing for baptism) and candidates (baptized adults preparing to enter the Catholic Church) into our community. They have been attending classes for quite some time, but this is the first time they attended Mass together and stated their intentions before the community.

Please keep the group in your prayers as they continue to listen for and respond to God’s call. God willing, they will receive the sacraments of initiation this Easter.

Lance Calvert is interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, in becoming a Catholic!
I Terry Calvert is a Roman Catholic, however, left the church late 60’s early 70’s.

We will like to attend RCIA together, for me to relearn the Faith, so much has changed!

We been married 34 years this coming June!

Are there classes we can also learn online?

    How do we get started?

We been watching mass on the Web faithfully. We met Father Jack once!

    Stay Safe, Healthy and Happy
    God Bless

Lance and Terry is sorry for not responding. We were wondering because of the Covid how is classes for RCIA will proceed this August? We have not gone to church, however, we have been Live Streaming the masses. We were just curious for Lance wants to become a Catholic and Terry wants to walk the path with Lance.

It’s good to know you are staying safe. We have yet to determine how RCIA will go if we need to keep COVID protocols in place. Deacon Rich will likely contact you closer to Labor Day to let you know the next steps.
