Video: Outreach Center Groundbreaking
The Church of Saint Mary is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Outreach Center.
It will take place at 49th & Quaker at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony
City of Tulsa Mayor GT Bynum and Diocese of Tulsa Bishop David Konderla will join Father Stuart Crevcoure, pastor, and Jackie Fusco, Outreach director, in turning the first spadefuls of soil.
Father Crevcoure will open the brief event with a prayer and some highlights of the work of Outreach Ministry. Bishop Konderla and Mayor Bynum will each give a few remarks.
The Outreach Ministry
The Church of Saint Mary Outreach Ministry provides counseling, food, toiletries, and material goods. Volunteers are trained to listen lovingly and to give prayerful support to those who seek assistance.
The Outreach Center
The 3,300 square foot Outreach Center will be the new home for the church’s charitable ministry, serving neighbors in need. The building will feature a comfortable waiting room, counseling rooms, a prayer space, a volunteers’ area, and lots of storage.
It is built to last with a brick exterior, fiberglass entry doors, and a hip roof (no gables). It is designed to operate with minimal maintenance requirements.
