At the Church of Saint Mary, we’re starting a family prayer initiative called It Starts With Prayer. This program is designed for busy families who are looking for easy ways to make their Catholic Faith a central part of their lives. To join us, you only need to do these three steps:
- Email Valerie Howard at vhoward@churchofsaintmary.com to receive an information packet, monthly emails and links to our It Starts With Prayer videos featuring our great parishioners and staff members.
- Spend September examining your family prayer life, and set a manageable goal for how you wish to change, increase, or adjust your family prayer time.
- Start Praying!
As Pope Francis says, “It is in the family that we first learn to pray. And don’t forget, when the family prays together, it remains together.”
