Recordings of the Masses of Christmas 2020

As we celebrate the Birth of the Lord Jesus during this year of pandemic, the Church of Saint Mary is mindful of your safety, comfort, and convenience.

Mass in the church

The Church of Saint Mary will offer Masses on

  • Thursday, December 24 at 4:00 p.m. with a prelude beginning at 3:30,
  • Thursday, December 24 at 6:00 p.m. featuring the Sunday Evening contemporary choir,
  • Thursday, December 24 at 10:00 p.m. with a prelude beginning at 9:30, and on
  • Friday, December 25 at 9:00 a.m.

There is room for 280 people in the church. The 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Masses in the church are full.

Streaming in the gym

Mass will be streamed to the parish gym during all four of those Masses. There will be room for 200 in the gym at each Mass. Eucharistic Ministers will distribute Communion to the congregation in both the church and in the gym.

Seating in both the church and the gym will be reserved. Masks will be mandatory in either location.

Registration has closed:

All four Masses will be streamed

The church will stream all four Masses on the parish YouTube channel (youtube.com/churchofsaintmary) and to the parish Facebook account.

The program for the 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm Masses can be found in PDF or mobile-friendly format.

How do I secure seats for my family?

On the weekend of December 5 & 6, the celebrants at Mass will make public an online form for you to reserve your spots at Mass on Christmas Eve or Christmas. You will need to indicate which Mass, which location, and how many attendees.

What are your Covid precautions at Mass particularly regarding masks?

Masks are mandatory in the church, in the gym, and any interior space on December 24 & 25.

At all other Masses, masks are strongly encouraged.

Will there be disinfecting of the church/gym between masses?

Yes, we disinfect every single time between Masses.

Personally, I think it’s shameful to have to reserve seats for Christmas Masses! To tell people “ sorry you can’t come in and worship the Lord today without a reservation “. Every other empty row is the devil sitting there with a big grin on his face!

    Hi Mike,
With the COVID numbers as they are, I would like to release my seats that I initially reserved. How do I proceed?
    Thank you for your help!

I will let Father Vince know. He’s creating seating charts based on reservations.
