Chaldean Bishop thanks Church of Saint Mary parishioners
Chaldean Catholic Bishop Francis Kalabat sent Father Jack a letter thanking the Church of Saint Mary for its generosity in an April second collection. Our church donated $16,327.63 to rebuilt a small Catholic church in a town twenty miles north of Mosul, Iraq. It had been severely damaged by ISIS.
Bishop Kalabat writes, “Please be assured of our prayers for everyone who prayed and worked so hard to make this donation possible.”
The pastor of Saint George Church in Telskuf, Iraq will keep us abreast of progress in the restoration of their church.
