Building Update: Final phase of design begins

The “Design Development” (DD) phase is complete and the final phase of the design process, “Construction Documents” (CDs) is beginning. The details of the latest estimate (DD Estimate) from Nabholz Construction are currently being reviewed, however, the initial cost estimates are promising. The project team is optimistic that the last design phase will provide the opportunity to select and finalize the design aspects of the Community Center to accommodate the budget made possible by the generous Parishioners of the Church of Saint Mary.

In addition, the following items are also taking place:

1. The exterior building finish options will be reviewed during the next Building Committee meeting on October 23rd.
2. IT and Security related design meetings for the Community Center and Outreach facility have begun and are ongoing.
3. The design of the future Outreach facility and Choir room is ongoing and continues to progress.
4. Coordination with the local utility companies and the City of Tulsa has been ongoing and the plan continues to develop for the various utility lines that will need to be relocated prior to the start of construction.
