Funeral Luncheons

One of St. Mary’s most rewarding ministries is supporting bereaved families who have experienced a loss with luncheons for parish funerals. Using a ‘rotating teams’ format, Team Captains serve as liaisons between the team members and the parish office and family contact. They plan the menu, using suggested guidelines, and call on team members to share duties of meal preparation and service. The members of the team deliver the dishes to the designated location and assist with set-up and service if needed.
