Stewardship Council

The mission of St. Mary's Stewardship Council is "to inspire and motivate parishioners to transform the Church of St. Mary into a perpetual Stewardship Parish living out the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ.  We will develop a structure to provide resources for stewardship opportunities by facilitating communication and collaboration among all ministries.  This is a continuing cycle as ongoing evaluation of accomplishments and progress will allow us to improve as we go forward."

The Council actively promotes the understanding and growth of stewardship as a way of life thoughout the parish.  Through ministry activities, the council works to educate parishioners about their giftedness and helps them look at how they are giving back to God in gratitude.  It is responsible for the annual stewardship renewal, parish ministries fair, listing of parish groups and service opportunities and continuing education about stewardship. It seeks to foster a Christian community atmosphere whereby the spiritual and social needs of parishioners can be realized through Stewardship of time, talent and treasure, resulting in a greater sense of belonging, involvement and commitment for each parishioner. Meetings are monthly.
