School of Saint Mary
Financial Aid for the Academic Year of 2012-13
In order to make the School of St. Mary a reality for as many students as possible, we are committed to a need-based financial aid program that enables qualified students from all cultural, racial and socio-economic groups to attend.
Tuition grants are only available for active parishioners enrolled in the School of St. Mary. Financial aid is awarded on the basis of a family’s demonstrated financial need. We use a nationally standardized system for analysis offered by FACTS. Because many families of new and returning students qualify for financial aid, the School of St. Mary is not able to offer aid to all families, nor can it offer full demonstrated need.
To apply for financial aid, please use the link (below). This will bring you to the FACTS entrance page for tuition aid. Select “Applicant Sign In”. The first time you must create an account under “New Users”. Subsequently, returning users may enter their existing username and password. Once your account has been created, you will have the ability to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment application online. You may save your work by sections and return to the application anytime until the application is ready to be submitted. (Please note that once you have completed Section 6 and submitted payment, you will be unable to return to the application.) Only online applications will be accepted. After completing the online application you will need to mail or fax the supporting documentation. The tax information needed to verify your application is shown in the FGAA Checklist that is found online.
Please note that the deadline for submission is March 15. This deadline is for the School of St. Mary, the St. Francis of Assisi Tuition Assistance program, as well as Bishop Kelley High School. Through the online process your application will be directed only to those schools whose codes you indicate in the application process. The school's zip code is used for this purpose: the Church of St. Mary is 74105; Bishop Kelley High School is 74135; Cascia Hall 74114. All applications will be forwarded to the St. Francis of Assisi Tuition program.
We also recognize there may be extenuating circumstances that arise after the priority deadline of March 15. While applications received after this deadline will not be considered for the St. Francis of Assisi Tuition Assistance Program, you are still eligible to be considered for assistance through the School of St. Mary if funds are available. Please contact the pastor, Fr. Jack Gleason, to discuss extenuating circumstances.
