Empowered by the Spirit is a dynamic process of preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. Contrary to popular perception, Confirmation is not about "becoming an adult" in the Church. Nor is it a "rite of passage." Confirmation is an awesome event in which we are given power by the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Christ to the world. Our young men and women will be prepared to receive this tremendous gift of grace through learning how to articulate their faith and by experiencing opportunities to serve those who are less fortunate.
